Basically you do a low pony tail, create a hole in the hair next to the scalp, tuck the end of the ponytail up into the hole and secure the sides with a small clip. These clips do the job perfectly. They are the perfect size and strength. They are also a matt finish which I like. Black and Tortoiseshell. Brilliant value for 6 clips.
