On a scale of one to ten, assembly is about a five. Not really hard, but you need to be careful. It took me about ten minutes to finish the assembly. It is made of acrylic, not glass, so it is a bit wobbly until you insert the clear acrylic into the base. At that point it is fairly sturdy. You also get a string of LED lights, which I am not using. You get five acrylic pieces, and the connectors to put it all together, plus a sturdy base. I am using them to display some of my more complicated dioramas, and they are perfect for that purpose. Before assembly, you will need to remove the protective film on the pieces, which was fairly easy, and then put them together using the provided materials. I will say that the holes drilled into the acrylic sheets, matched perfectly to the corner pieces. And, although the securing pins were a bit tricky, once I figured it out, the rest of the assembly went without problems. Nice boxes, and great for displaying my dioramas. Will it fall apart easily?** A: I've moved it, taken the cover off to wipe it down (I have dogs and rain and snow!!!) and have never had any problem putting the top back on the base. The top part of the cube structure is solid and easily movable! It does take a bit of time and patience to put together, but it is well worth it! **Q: I am looking for a acrylic box to hold 12' multiple barbie dolls. What size would be best to hold 8 dolls on stands?** A: I would suggest setting the dolls in the stands and then measuring them to determine the dimensions of the case needed. **Q: Do they stack?** A: Actually is super sturdy..I would not stack it just bc that mught ends up scratching the surface. Its for displayi. In my opinion is the best quality. **Q: Is this weather proof ?** A: It is a snap together case. I highly doubt it would withstand any kind of water based weather conditions.
