My car is so old its radio doesn't work and it doesn't have anything to plug an iPod into, so I use this Wired NudeAudio in the car to listen to books and music. It's compact and loud enough for driving. My iPod is also so old that it's not blue-tooth so I need something wired. This little speaker is perfect! It's hard to find speakers that have that capability now, so I'm glad NudeAudio still does. This one is my second one. The last one worked several years before the wire finally separated from the speaker. That was the only drawback, but it did last at least 3 years of daily use being carried in and out of the car, stuffed in the glove box, and riding around on the dashboard. It seems like it loses signal, but if you increase the volume the problem goes away and it plays faultlessly again.So if you only use it for "parties" or BBQ or to take out.
