I filled a basket with crackers & wine. He loved it ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fun novelty *by R***R on 30 December 2023* This product comes with everything you need to make and season a lot of halloumi-style cheese, which I haven't had much of previously. I was surprised it could be made in just a few hours. The catch is that you need unhomogenised milk (gold cap) which isn't common. The booklet that comes with this product has instructions for making the cheese and beer-battering it, and also for making ale-washed "squeaky curds". You don't have to use beer to make the basic cheese, though, and I would tend not to. The whole booklet is well-written and detailed. This is an interesting activity, but since it makes 12 batches of about 600g of halloumi, you definitely need to like the cheese to make full use of it.
