After attempting to charge the battery, it still would not charge so I made a return. I did encounter a problem with the return. When I went through the process of returning it as instructed on screen, it said that the seller would send me a return label. I received the label but it did not include return postage. After paying for postage and dropping it in the mail, I determined that paying for the postage to return it didn't make sense since I had received free shipping to receive it. I didn't pay to have it shipped to me, I couldn't use it, and then I had to pay to ship it back.When I later spoke to the seller, they told me I should have called them, but unfortunately, I didn't think to do that as I was just following the on-screen instructions I was given to make the return. The seller was helpful in instructing me to contact Amazon about the postage, but at no time was I instructed to contact Amazon in the self-return process or was I given the option to return it in any other fashion than the way I did. Upon contacting Amazon, they immediately applied a postage credit to my existing credit so that ended up working out fine.I did go ahead and request a replacement battery. That battery did not charge either so I ended up buying a new power cord. I'm still not able to charge the battery with either the original power cord or the new one nor either battery so I am not sure where the problem lies and cannot say whether or not the battery is good.Although this has been a complicated process, it is probably an isolated incident. I don't think there is necessarily a problem with the seller or maybe even the product itself, just be careful should you have to return the product. Call the seller or Amazon first for instruction rather than pay for postage using the label they will send you.The second battery did arrive with a little piece on the edge that was loose and ultimately broke off, but it did not inhibit the battery from fitting into the computer. It was a cosmetic issue. I did send a note to the seller about it just to let them know, but I did not receive any feedback. I held on to the second battery until I could see if the new power cord would resolve the issue, but it did not. Not sure where the problem lies so I now have 2 batteries that won't take a charge! ### ⭐⭐ Pooped out after a few weeks *by B***H on Reviewed in the United States on December 30, 2013* I have had my Toshiba for almost 5 years. As is normal, my battery stopped holding as much of a charge, until my computer stopped recognizing it 6 months ago. I was loath to buy a new one for $150 from Toshiba, so I decided to give this one a try instead. When I got it, I put it into the computer, and for the first time in a year I was able to sit with my laptop unplugged for more than 5 seconds or less.
