The Max version is slightly larger version while still within legal limits. I tried it because I like their regular Super soft ball and I heard that it played well. It seems to instill a little more confidence in your ball striking. I think it's probably a good ball for either sex player with mid to high handicap. **Q: Are they larger diameter than standard golf balls** A: They are 3% larger which equals 0.05". Its a very very small amount and I don't even notice it anymore unless it is next to a regular ball. The whole getting stuck between the hole & the flag pole has only happened once to me out of many many rounds. They definitely lunch higher then my go to ball the Taylormade tour. A little shorter with the driver but definitely make up for that with the irons lunch a 5 iron like your hitting a 7 . So if you have any problems getting the ball up this is your best option with out having to do anything like changing shafts or going to hybrids . The ball is a little tiny minute bigger but you can’t tell unless a standard ball is right next to it and even then you have to hold them next to each other to really tell. They feel soft of the face of the clubs . And soft off the putter . I really enjoyed playing them . I’ll keep close watch on my scores for a few weeks and see if they are actually saving me any strokes . But overall they are very good ballls and for half the price of the so called premium balls you can’t go wrong it’s a no brainer.
