Not very happy with it - even after having been back for ‘repair’ - now happier with final outcome.
I liked the look and description of this and purchased it. When it arrived, the plain box it was in was damaged, so was some of the polystyrene packaging. I tried baking some bread and it turned out good - except it was inside a 2 or 3 millimetre thick coating of charcoal! Roasting some pork (on the spit) I have a Meater meat thermometer and that showed the oven temperature, set at 180 deg C, was at 210 degC and still rising! (It cooked in half the expected time but was still tasty.)Further experimenting, having purchased a digital oven thermometer, showed that with the thermostat set above 150 deg C, the temperature carried on rising to about 240deg C, below 130 deg C it fell to 130 deg C and carried on falling.By the time I’d reached this point and asked for a return, it was accepted - but Klarstein insisted that they don’t give refunds after 30 days, ‘repaired’ it and sent it to me again, this time in a Klarstein oven box, inside a plain one and all packing was intact. Great, I thought. Wrong! When I tried cooking, I found that, though I could now hear the thermostat cutting in and out, this was not until the temperature was well over the 100 deg C lowest point on the temperature dial and set at 180 deg C, it carried on upwards. Set at 130 deg C, it would reduce to 180 deg C and cycle between approx 180 deg C and 190 deg C.Having been able to contact Klarstein, they have now agreed to another return and a refund.I accept that this could well be a one-off, ‘bad apple’ and I do like the idea but, having obtained another mini oven in its place, I am unwilling to accept a replacement for this one. With Klarstein having a UK branch, I would have found the shorter turn round that delivery from there would have enabled, and such an experience less upsetting!

could be better insulated.gets v.v.
We have moved and the kitchen oven is very low . I like cast iron casserole dishes. Being a lady of a certain age, this was proving difficult and not wishing to pay for a new kitchen ( not otherwise needed) we bought this table top oven to supplement the existing cooker.I like it but what is important to know I list below.

I’m not into baking but I do roast dinners and bake butter cake only. We didn’t have decent roast dinner for a long time and stop baking my family fav butter cake because the oven we have from previous owner isn’t that great...a built in! So to get new once fixed my kitchen would need full renovation. This Klarstein oven serves more than a mini oven; we finally got well made roast dinner and a butter cake for Eid. Great stuff truly recommend as a second oven in any kitchen.

Wel thought out product that is solidly built and easy to use.
The Masterchef is better than I expected. Solidly built, well thought out with good flexibility. I have used it every day since it arrived and I have enjoyed its use. The packing and delivery were spot on. My only concern is to be careful when opening the oven door after use. The handle is close to the glass cover and you can burn your fingers if you are not careful.

Thermostat broke very quickly.
The thermostat broke and it just burnt everything. It was well within the guarantee period (about 3 months) old so the company accepted it as a return. I had to chase for the refund though.

It’s a bit ‘tinny’ and has warped with the heat.
It’s a bit tinny. Expected a more substantial product from a German manufacturer. Good enough for what we are using. Probably wouldn’t have paid this much if I had knownthe quality.
