Easy install, easy set up, great camera/video and you cannot beat the price! **Changing my review. I purchased high quality rechargeable batteries for this and it has drained them within 2 weeks. The app that assists in the monitoring process is very inconsistent. The operating instructions are non-existent. I just assumed that after the install it would walk me through the process but there are no help instructions for the operation of the item. You're left on your own to figure it out.....and I cannot. There is no way to control the push notification to only have it notify you when someone actually rings the doorbell so my phone is constantly "dinging" whenever a leaf blows across the range. There is an option to supposedly control the detection of motion but it will not allow the user to change it. There is a very long delay (15 seconds at least though it says only 10) between someone actually ringing the doorbell and me being notified of it - the person at the door is long gone before I can even get the app open to see who it is or communicate with them (I have superfast internet so that is not the problem) I'm very dissatisfied and sending the units back. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Works but needs much improvement *by B***. on January 5, 2018* Nice camera. Easy setup. Mine came without any mounting hardware. The only piece I would like to have would be the very bottom screw that actually keeps the camera from being removed from the mounting plate for security.UPDATE 2/9/18After using this for a little over a month I'm going to try another one. The sound on my cam has never worked right. It always has static in it. You can't have any motion in front of the camera if you set it on high sensitivity because then all you have is false alarms from tree branches moving or something. It takes quite some time for the camera to come online so when you finally get to look at the image nobody's there. I have a nice little LAN setup that this is hooked up to, with solid internet and WIFI, and it still takes about 10 seconds to come through with the alert tone on my phone. The batteries last a decent amount of time. I use the same battery for some head lamps I have, and I have a charger so I've always got a replacement ready. I've changed the batteries once within this 30 day period. The intercom function doesn't work very well AT ALL. You can't understand what each other is saying. I'm looking for a replacement doorbell currently. This one just doesn't cut it. ### ⭐ Most features did not work *by W***N on February 18, 2018* All the features I wanted in the doorbell. Unfortunately it didn’t work. The motion detector would not record video and recording would not go to the SD card only the cloud. Although Wi-Fi is close to unit it only connects half of the time otherwise it says unstable condition. Motion detector send notices at least every minute when the sun is out. Even though there is nothing there. Thought this was gonna be the perfect replacement for my RING doorbell because I didn’t want to pay a monthly subscription fee to the cloud.
