No leaking or problems of any kind. Fantastic for making my hot drinks while fishing next to the lake and it never fails to get someone asking about it.Highly recommended for the discerning UK carp fisherman. I also have the larger 1.5l version with the hobo stove kit and it is just as good with the added bonus of being able to cook your food on it after you have made your drink.I am a huge fan of this product line. If you are in any doubt as to if it is as good as its American counterpart don't be. I used to have one of those in stainless until it got crushed. My fault I reversed my car over it while packing up my kit one day. These alloy kettles are just as good.
