Review: Hydrating Everyday Balm with Great Ingredients - One thing I generally like about Korean cosmetics is that they focus more on comfort and lip health instead of heavy pigment or long-wear at all costs. This balm feels like that — very wearable, very everyday. The ingredient list. It’s not just wax with color. There are a lot of genuinely good moisturizing and nourishing oils in here: Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Camellia Japonica Seed Oil, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Mango Fruit Extract, and Rosehip Fruit Extract. The color itself is sheer, and Mauve Whip looks very natural - more “my lips but better” than lipstick. The shine is glossy but not sticky, and it wears off evenly. One thing to mention: it does contain fragrance components: Limonene and Linalool. I’m not sensitive to fragrance and it doesn’t bother me at all, but if your lips are reactive, that’s something to keep in mind.
