I am most definitely an amateur who will have a go at anything if I can and I'm glad I bought this product, as I wouldn't have a clue what the consistency is supposed to be like if I tried to mix it myself. When I first opened the tub, a bit of dried adhesive fell out of the rim and I was concerned that it was leaking and would have been dried out, but it was fine. I can only assume that a bit had got caught in between the tub and the lid in the factory because the adhesive was a lovely butter icing type consistency inside the tub. Because I was using it to re-tile a small area of my bathroom and it said on the tub not to use a trowel with grooves to apply it to walls in a usually wet environment, I just used a wallpaper scraper lol because that's what I had to hand and it was actually really fun and enjoyable to do! I didn't make a very professional job of it with my lack of experience and proper tools, but the tiles are still on the wall, so I call that a win! One thing I will say is that although it is multi purpose and can also be used to grout in between the tiles as well as as an adhesive, I have bought a separate grout, as this one says it shouldn't be used in a shower for A WEEK after grouting! To be honest with you, it was my first experience of tiling. I used a tub and a half to tile 4sqm. I noticed that if I diluted it a little bit I could have used one tub only for my 4 sqm toilet. I think every diluted litre will cover 1sqm. Apologies if I couldn't help. I also used it as adhesive only and not grouting. For grouting I used shimmer sliver 5L which covered the whole toilet. And also I believe, the expert will never have waste. **Q: Can I use it to fix tiles onto a wooden floor** A: I wouldn’t think so as it dries fairly solid and if your flooring is anything like mine, there’s a lot of flexing.
