Assembly was a bit tedious but expected and required for "fits most" requirements. I rechecked bolt tightness after a couple weeks and only minor adjustments. Recommended for heavier payloads
Review: best rack i've ever used and cant recommend highly enough - i had a cheap rack on my bike that broke the same month i purchased it. i rigged it to work for what i needed but one day coming home it broke completely and almost took my tire with it. i went online and after several hours looking i came across this one. seeing it says it can hold 310lbs and looked much sturdier than what i had i figured why not its cheap enough. took about 30 minutes to install because my bike doesnt use standard piping. i got it adjusted to the height i needed and wrenched it down, using the included rubber bits that help keep the supports in place. i took it out immediately for a much needed grocery run and loaded up my bags that i had attached to it and set off for home. 7 mile round trip with about 60lbs worth of goods and it didnt show any signs of give and kept solid on the bike. i've even transported other people on it without issue. a friend of mine needed to get to the store up the way from where we lived and while he thought i was joking when i offered him a lift, he finally got on and he's not light. he says he's 210lbs, he felt like more. took some effort to get where he needed to go but we got there and there wasnt a single issue with the rack. it didnt bend or buckle or even sway. i have to believe its claim at 300lb+ capacity as i've thrown everything i could at it since i got it and my bike has shown more issues than the rack ever has. absolutely worth it, and it works great with bikes that dont have eyelets for standard rack installs. my bike is a cheap fixed gear with no standard mounting options for anything and this has been the best investment for it yet.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice and sturdy cargo rack

I chose this bike rack over Topeak's offerings because they wouldn't fit on my new mountain bike's 29 inch wheels and this one offered better weight capacity. I just got a quicktrack adaptor and drilled a few holes on the top plate to fit the screw holes on the adaptor. This rack is really solidly built and should fit most bikes. I haven't tested the weight capacity all the way to the claimed 200 pounds, but it should definitely hold over 100. It installed pretty easily in spite of a lack of instructions. I wound up forgoing the rearmost clamps on the back of the rack in favor of just attaching the end pieces directly to the braze-ons (the threaded mounting points that most bikes already have right by the rear wheel and on the rear triangle just behind the seat tube). the screws they include are even the right size for the braze-ons anyway! It's nice that they include the clamps so the rack fits most bikes, but if your bike's frame has braze-ons, I'd advise you to use them. the kit included plenty of extra hardware and all the tools you'll usually need to install it. I like that they included nylock nuts (regular steel nuts with a ring made of nylon on one end to help keep them from working loose over time) for extra security and many of the parts where a nut would be used have a groove that holds the nut in place so you don't need to use a wrench on the nut once it's pretty tight. nice attention to detail.
