I’m not sure what else you might have in mind. His long white silky coat soon picks up any dirt going. He did not at all mind me using the MudBuster to clean his paws. When I first used it, I let him have a good look and sniff at it, then filled it with lukewarm water - paw in - up and down - left and right - out came a much cleaner paw, which I then patted dry on a small towel. I then gave him a small treat for his good behaviour.The MudBuster is robustly constructed. It comes apart easily if you need to to clean it out after use. The silicone bristles are very soft, so they won't hurt paws, yet are still rigid enough to tease out the dirt.
