However when a call is received only the main reciever rings so if in back room could miss a call as the unit there does not ring. For some strange reason it also rings at 1am each morning, on a non base unit receiver though no call is shown as being received or shown on 1471. Very odd.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is the phonebook shared to the other handsets when set up on one handset?**
A: Not automatically. But there is a simple function to send one number - or the whole list - to the other handset(s).

**Q: is there an audible indicator when there is a message on the answerphone please?**
A: hi, 
I can't absolutely state that it doesn't have an audio warming of a new message, but I have read the manual and can't find evidence that the function is switched off on my phone.  I rely on the flashing light, which works fine unless you have a sight impediment of course.

**Q: Can I increase the number of rings before caller goes to answerphone?**
A: You can set the answering machine to kick in after how ever many rings you set it for.I think the maximum is about 10 ring but each model of phone can vary

**Q: I like to use my current phone has an alarm clock, does this phone have this feature**
A: Each handset has an alarm clock.  I just checked before answering this question.

These phones are really good quality. Sound is fab and the answering phone is so easy to use. Such a great price for 3 phones. One in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. Definitely recommend these phones.

Call quality very good. Not the easiest to set up, but that was because I have True Call installed with an answering machine but otherwise fine. This pair of telephones are good value and with many features. I would add that when you are setting the phones up make sure that you follow the procedures carefully and only use the cables supplied. Be careful with the requirement to charge and discharge the battery before putting the phones in their cradles, and note the extension phone will not work unless the charging unit has power even though it is not on the charger initially. All in all a nice small phone set.
