Home bound and in need of projects this was his birthday present. In 66 he was the sole breadwinner for my mother,I and 4 siblings and after 2 station wagons bought a 66 Mustang. My mother said nothing. 6cl and 3 speed, my sister, brothers and I learned to drive on that car. I learned that you could have a picnic spread under the hood when you were working on a car and to this day have never driven anything that could compare. (never had a new car nor bought a used one - 20 or so years soo.. caveat). Crap.. waxing nostalgic... The model was perfect and with the Barka Lounger, Big Screen TV with the big number remote and the old man S$%* that I will be receiving as gifts in short order, this was the gift he most cherished.
