Has a rubbery grip underneath which helps keep it in place mostly in my car, it does shift a bit getting in and out which I’ll just have to get used to. Definitely not a “cure” but certainly helpful. Have purchased a lumbar back cushion as well. It may be something peculiar to me, because I can't point to anything about the cushion that is wrong.
