She is having a great time with it and making all kinds of little outfits. They turn out looking really cute, so the immediate-satisfaction level is very high and the frustration level is very low for a craft project. I suggest getting the kit with extra paper, because the paper will be the thing that runs out quickly, although you could probably find some other patterns in the scrapbooking section of a craft store. It comes with cut-out stencils and she doesn't seem to be having any trouble with them at all. There are not a lot of little beads and decorations, but if the child enjoys this, it's very easy to get more of those kinds of things at a craft store. It seems perfect for a girl her age and I think it would make a really great and unusual gift for a girl of a similar age who likes crafts or fashion.
