Then it turns out a family member had a Casio HR-170RC with a fading ribbon, which these serendipitously also fit. Again, installation was easy, and print quality is excellent. Two out of two! 100%! I still have eight of these that I won’t be using anytime soon. But I’m pretty happy with these, especially because of my low expectations. The ribbon fell out of the ribbon holder. The instructions for many items are so small I can't see them so I have to use the trial method. The ribbons don't seem to last very long or maybe I just used them longer than I should.
