I personally like the larger models such as this, more than the smaller 1:25 or 1:24. Went together in about a week including painting. I would have to say the only frustration was with the doors lining up, or staying closed however, after a little sanding and trimming here and there - no more issue. the base plastic is white; therefore, it will require a paint job. Before I purchased, I had already decided to go with black, and I have purchased a second one which will be silver when completed.
