The big expenses are programming the key fob generally nothing less than $75-$100. The cutting is inexpensive, but if you want a remote that is OEM or close to it ....that is generally the going price **Q: I was able to program the door locks but the key will not start the car. Does anyone have the instructions for the chip programming?** A: The key needs to be cut to match your original key then ya thru the lock steps. These are the steps for a 2913 FJ Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1.5 seconds. B. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, Press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming Hood luck ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ it doesn't work *by M***D on 9 November 2024* remote didn't work for my fj cruiser 2011 at all ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excelente *by I***L on 28 April 2026* Perfectas ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works for 2014 FJ *by V***1 on 2 March 2026* Purchased for 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser and self programming for locks worked and programming for master key and ignition worked too!
