Review: Clock and supplier well recommended - Standard delivery came within 2 days. Bought this to replace the cheap plastic Actim clock which did well for a couple of years and then the cuckoo died. Though advertised as a traditional German clock, a label on the back says "Made in China" However for all that, its well made and the clock keeps perfect time to the second. The forest sound of rushing water and cuckoo "echo" was different to the Actim single "cuckoo" and not so easy to count, but that's not a big issue as you get used to it. All in all, I think this is the best alternative for a cheap cuckoo clock if you are not prepared to spend hundreds on the real mechanical variety. However, once the electrical connection goes, you'll have to scrap it which is a shame for landfill.

**Q: I have bought one of these. Ive not been sent any instructions. All I need to know is what the three side buttons do?**
A: Longest is Volume of sound. Middle use reset the time The adjust button you have to keep pressing each time letting the cuckoos sound out, but you cannot do this until the "O" Clock.

**Q: Can you set the cuckoo to come out once per day (like an alarm) or must it be every daylight hour?**
A: I bought it for someone else as a present so not 100% sure but I believe it is every hour and cannot be changed

**Q: Does it tick**
A: No!

**Q: Hi. Is this battery operated?**
A: Yes, it runs on battery. BUT, my cukoo ceased cuckooing after aprox three months.
