Product Description Bona Wood Floor Cleaner is specifically designed to remove dust, dirt and grime safely from wood floors finished with lacquer (varnish). It's also suitable for cleaning other hard floors such as laminate, vinyl and LVT. The water based, Greenguard certified formulation is safe to use around your family and pets. To clean oiled wood floors please choose Bona Wood Floor Cleaner for Oiled Floors instead. Review: Bona Bio based wood floor cleaner - I bought this one by accident, I meant to get the one for hard surfaces. I have read reviews and others have used it on their laminate flooring. My laminate is 12mm thick Dolce hard wood, walnut effect high gloss shine premium flooring. I used it on my floor, and so far so good. It left no streaks or residue and left my floors looking shiny. I may use up this bottle, I have bought the right bottle for hard surfaces this time. It's a 1 litre spray bottle for £8.99 which is a good investment in keeping my floor clean with the right cleaner. I'm just waiting on it coming. This is ph 7 neutral, and green guard certified, like the spray cleaner for hard surfaces, so the bio based wood cleaner bottle i have I'm cautious to use and may do for now, until my new bottle comes tomorrow. There is no scent and drying time is pretty much instantly. It was expensive, but good value for money as it's a litre spray bottle that will last a while, plus it's an investment. I use a flash mop with microfiber heads that I put onto the mop and I spray the mop before cleaning my new wood laminate flooring. And spray the floor and mop straight away. The spray bottle holds 1 litre, which will last a while, so it's durable. So far, I'm happy with it. I will tuck this one away for now, and use the bona hard surfaces cleaner on my new laminate flooring when it comes.

**Q: I have engineered wood flooring but in places the varnish finish has worn off. Is it ok to use ?**

Thank you for your query.

The Bona Wood Floor cleaner is designed for use on sealed floors. Unfortunately if the varnish on your floor is exposing bare wood, this floor is no longer entirely sealed and therefore our cleaners would be unsuitable to use.

**Q: I have oak laminate flooring of which I do not want a shine on the surface just a soft sheen would this be suitable,and also could I apply with cloth**
A: I use this on my varnished parquet flooring and a laminate wooden flooring. I use the bona mop to do it and it does not leave a shine on the surface and the flooring appears the same only cleaner.  It has no fragrance.  I guess it could be applied with a cloth.  Spray the floor surface and mop with the cloth.  The mope head is really flexible to move around and the mop is detachable and washable.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How far does the 1L bottle go?  I have a 16ft by 12ft lounge**

Unfortunately, it is hard to give you specific guidelines as its dependant on how dirty the floor is, as to how much you will need to use, as a very rough estimate you should get several cleans of that size floor with the 1L Spray.

Amazing product but you’ll need a mop or/and a cloth piece to make stains go away. Not as accurate as mentioned in the videos with it. Overall good for wooden floors leaves a stingy scent.
