After reading some of the reviews about electric ice crushers, I decided that a mechanical one would be a better choice. I wasn't wrong. This item turned out to be just what I was looking for, it's very easy to use (also fun) and it gets the job done so I would definitely recommend it. The only minor flaw is that the crushed ice needs to be crushed again if you want it to have a smooth shape.
