These needles feel really nice in the hand and glide smoothly through the fabric. I like the colour coded idea, time will tell however if this comes away eventually. The needles feel really smooth like they have had a special finish, which you don't get on all needles, and the various sizes means both my cross stitch and backstitch needles are all together. Whomever mentioned that they can't open the packet they come in, I pity you and your intelligence, or lack there of should I say. A simple removal of a bit of sellotape and, hey presto, it turns. I tried stitching on plastic canvas with the smaller sizes and they bent easily.
