Our bed is one huge heavy mattress on a board cover with material. This was the how it was purchased. Not like the old box springs. It helps me tuck the sheets because I can. This little tool makes it so much easier to put sheets on my bed! I was never able to get the fitted sheet tucked under the mattress far enough to get it smooth & wrinkle-free, but now it is no problem. Wish I had ordered it sooner. I pusi it in flat, turn it is on its side then have plenty of room to reach in on either side to pull the sheet tight then move on until the whole sheet it tucked tight. It's great!
