Would light glow through is you stuck a bulb inside it?** A: It is a hard and strong lastic globe, but there is no light bulb in it. **Q: Where is this globe made?** A: The Amazon product details for this globe show quite clearly that it has been produced by a company called Exerz Ltd., and a 1-minute search tells me that this company is registered in the United Kingdom, in London. This does not mean, of course, that the globe wasn't actually manufactured in China. Can't help you there. **Q: Is the globe plastic or cardboard please?** A: Plastic **Q: Which size would best suit a 7 year old boy?** A: I bought the medium size as I didn't want a huge globe for my grandson. It is perfectly adequate to meet his needs and he is 6.
