Review: Good Film - Good enough to keep me interested Review: Quite simply, a masterpiece - I originally bought Band of Brothers on DVD when it was released back in 2001. I remember back even then, it felt like every episode was an event to appreciate with full concentration and no distractions, such was the importance of the story, the men whose tales of war are told so vividly, graphically both in the interviews pre-episode and then portrayed so brilliantly by all the actors involved. 20 years on it was time to upgrade to Blu-ray and this amazing series has never looked better and sounded more powerful. The battle scenes throughout are so realistic, bullets whistling past your ears from all side, explosions shaking your walls etc. Again I sat and watched in awe/silence the whole way through, it really is THAT good. Looking forward to watching the documentaries next :) If you havent already, BUY this and be blown away. A band of brothers who will make you laugh, cry, but most of all inspire.
