In winter, this keeps insulin cool in heated rooms; similarly keeping insulin cool outside in warm/hot weather. Used for extensive travel as well. Once 'hydrated' for first use, 2-3 minutes to rehydrate and maintain. Be careful not to leave the frio in water for too long, otherwise you'll have to wait for it to 'dehydrate' a little before you can get 2 pens in.
