Will this work to remove the broken screw thats stuck inside my drywall?** A: I wouldn't recommend it. The Grabit is designed to remove a screw (in your case a drywall screw), where the slots in the head of the screw have been worn or damaged to the extent that the driver can't get enough "bite" to turn it. The Grabit drills into the head of the screw to the depth and width that allows the reverse-threaded extractor to get enough "bite" to turn and back out the damaged screw. In your case I assume that the head of the screw broke-off, so there's an insufficient metal surface for the Grabit to do its job. If the screw stem extends out beyond the surface of the drywall, I'd suggest grabbing it with a pair of vise-grips and turning it back out. But, use care as drywall crumbles like a stale cookie. Now, if the screw shaft is below the surface of the drywall, then spackling and a putty knife will do the trick. **Q: Will this work for a stripped set screw in a bathroom delta faucet handle? Anyone know?
