It was stuffed to maximum capacity on the journeys to and from and coped extremely well considering I had a Surface Pro 4 laptop, a digital camera, mini-tripod, plus a lot of charging cables and even 5 bags of coins weighing 2 kilos (collected by family members on prior trips). The front pocket contained my large Nokia 8 in leather case (fits sideways through the zip fastener opening) plus my passport, travel documents (ESTA, Hotel, Boarding Cards, Travel Insurance policy papers and more) and even a few other small items (USB memory sticks, house keys, camera batteries etc.). So it had a lot of use, continually opening and closing the zippers, and I can report that I never had any issues whatsoever.This backpack was a little pricier than others that I looked at in various stores, but what sold it for me was the perfect size - just 16 cubic litres - thus easy to wear/carry using one shoulder (how I like to use a day-pack to easily swing it around to access my camera quickly or other stuff. I even took it to the beach one day and it took a large beach towel rolled up and inserted vertically, taking up around half the interior space of the main pocket. I would definitely recommend this bag for any person travelling on short or long trips. I used it as my sole cabin baggage and it was just perfect, especially sitting at bars/restaurants in the airport - so easy to keep by ones feet or on an adjacent stool/chair. The straps adjust really easily and stay in place, zips are high quality, the side-netting on each side are perfect for a drink's bottle (great for 2 persons), plus the contoured foam pads on the back ensure airflow between your body and the backpack - this was useful in 30-degree Celsius (mid to high-80s Fahrenheit) weather. This bag is the first worn by me that does not cause my back to sweat and my shirt to get soaked! So a big plus in my book. Finally, the canvas loop-strap at the top of the bag is very strong and I like the way the bag is shaped - much wider at the base than at the top. The only potential criticism of this extremely lightweight bag is the canvas bottom. If the manufacturer were to attempt to improve this design, perhaps they might consider a sturdier (maybe rubber/foam padded) base. Ergo, if carrying breakables or fragile items, do not drop or throw around too much. Overall though, its a little gem of a bag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Nice little day pack *by C***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 May 2018* Was bought to replace a 10L canvas Lowe Alpine backpack that was falling apart after 15 years or so of heavy use. I like the fact it isn't too big to use for the gym or on a short bike ride and has the handy mesh side pockets for bottles etc. Good to have a zipped compartment at the front to keep a few small things out of the main part of the bag for easier finding.
