Read the reviews - the plastic ring continually breaks - then try getting a replacement under this 'warranty'. It is impossible to get hold of anyone from customer service, and if you are lucky enough to do so, it will take a couple of months to get the very cheap plastic part during which time you have no use of the machine. The alternative is to spend another £20 every few months buying it yourself to avoid the stress. Do yourself a favour and walk away now! **Q: My kmix glass mixing bowl threaded ring was broken. is it possible to get a new one?** A: Mine broke too, you can buy one off Amazon, that's what i did, they cost about £13 but i also told kenwood about it and they sent me a replacement **Q: It has the union flag on it. is it made in the uk or is this basically a lie?** A: A clever marketing ploy.
