The screen is bright and just as responsive as the original screen. The colors are a tad bit less brilliant than the original screen which I like, because I always thought the original screen colors seemed unnatural. The kit comes with a tempered glass screen protector and a set of tools to make the switch. If you're looking for instructions, do some YouTube searches because the instructions that come in the box are extremely minimal. The job of installing the screen is challenging. I have worked on phones and tablets a couple of times in the past. This was one of the more difficult installations because removing the old screen is not easy. After heating it up, I struggled with it for about 30 minutes before actually creating a starting point to insert a pick. Once I got it started I tried to be gentle, but it continued to be difficult until I finally got it off about 15 minutes later. In the process the old screen breaks up into hundreds of little pieces which I cleaned up with a vacuum cleaner. After that, the installation was a breeze. Bottom line, I'm very happy with this purchase, but if you are not comfortable with this kind of work, my advice is to buy an LCD screen that is already attached to a frame.
