**Q: Hello. A few of the stones are cracked upon arrival , can I get a replacement for those ? I want to keep but disappointed some stones are broke**
A: I got diamond stones afterwards for mine. The stones were pretty cheap in my opinion.

**Q: Are higher quality stones of the correct size available? What about diamond stones?**
A: Yes I got some here on Amazon that are mounted to aluminum plates and they work awesome!

**Q: What is the lowest angle this sharpener can reach?**
A: I've achieved 14° on my larger knives,(Santoku, 8" chef, cleaver). I haven't tried a smaller knife like a paring knife or pocket knife, but I doubt I could achieve less than 18° on either because of the mounting clamps.

**Q: Does this item comes with a case?**
A: Yes it comes with a case.

Het toestel is prima geschikt voor licht tot normaal slijpwerk. De afwerking is netjes en voldoende stevig voor kleine tot middelgrote messen. Hele smalle messen werken niet met de rubberen klembeschermers, maar met een paar lagen schilderstape op de grijpkant kom je een heel eind. Het minpunt zijn de meegeleverde aluminiumoxide stenen, deze zijn zeer broos en fragiel, vooral de grovere korrels. Eén slijpsteen was al gebroken tijdens transport, een tweede brak bij het neerleggen op een harde ondergrond, en een derde tijdens het slijpen. De fijnere stenen lijken minder fragiel, dus voor het scherp houden van messen is dit een prima apparaat, maar voor het slijpen van verwaarloosde messen zijn de grove stenen te zwak.
