## Description

Read the fun story of two young engineers, Ty and Karlie Omega, and build simple models of the aircraft they discover on their hilarious family vacation. Along this roundabout journey, the kids build various flying machines to help the people they encounter solve problems and complete tasks. As you follow the story, you can build models of the ten vehicles in the story. Large, colorful plastic building pieces make it easy for small hands to put the models together. The kids start out by building a passenger jet to bring their family to a tropical island. After they arrive, they construct a helicopter to help a scientist studying sea turtles reach a remote island. As they continue along their trip, they also build a biplane, solar glider, seaplane, triplane, prop plane, hang glider, space plane, and supersonic jet. This 73-piece science kit combined with the beautifully illustrated 32-page storybook provides an engaging way to teach simple engineering concepts to preschool-age kids. Start laying the groundwork for strong STEM related skills and comprehension. Review: Engaging Engineering Kit - Great engineering kit! We purchased several of these kits for our grandsons who absolutely love creating free-style. This aircraft engineer kit was missing two small parts right from the beginning, the 2 anchor pins. I contacted the company. Their customer service responded with an email. The missing parts were shipped and have arrived. Thank you! It can be a frustrating experience to attempt to build aircraft according to their current directions. They could be improved (the 4 stars), or more useful to have a link with videos for young ones to follow along. I gave up on the airplane instructions. I went free-style just to get it done for my 4 year old grandson. He thought it was terrific! We have several of these kits: Gears, Aircraft, Automobile, Work Bench, Boat. Two sets of the Robot Engineering Kits are already under Grandma's Christmas tree. Perfect for their hands, lightweight, interchangeable parts, colorful. Be aware that the boat will indeed float in a bubble bath, but the parts will retain some water. Drain on a towel, hole side down.

Great engineering kit! We purchased several of these kits for our grandsons who absolutely love creating free-style. My son was excited about this and we built the first 3 planes, he kept trying to fly them around the house and they kind of fell apart-crumpling onto itself. It made him really frustrated and bummed. I thought this toy would at least hold its shape for some minor fly around play.
