I did experience this, but only due to filling the small container too high, and not securing the lid tight enough. As long as you use the appropriate container and make sure the lid is adequately screwed on, there are no problems! It's not a fault with the product itself in my opinion. I use a tea-towel to help make sure it's fitted tightly. If I’m making a solo-smoothie, I use the small container - if I’m making one for family, I use the larger one.
