This special manufacturing method gives TetraPRO Colour Multi-Crisps a very high nutritional value. The multi-crisps also absorb less water than normal flake food. This increases the nutrient content per volume. All TetraPRO foods offer also an optimised protein-fat ratio. This ensures that the fish can use the protein specifically to build muscle by providing plenty of essential fatty acids for energy generation. **Q: Can this be used with fresh water fish (Mollys, gappies, platies)?**
A: In answer to your question yes I have used tetra pro colour with both Molly's and Platies with very good results I would say however it's best to change the type of food you use occasionally for best results ( we don't eat the same food all the time )

**Q: What type of food is this ?, one review calls it Flakes another as Crisps, please advise, and if a Crisp, how much or many per feed**
A: It’s a crisp. Just a sprinkle will do. We tend to over feed our fish. I feed mine once a day 5 days a week. Over feeding causes so many problems like algae, snails and bad water quality.

A: Hi Carly,Yes, Cichlids can have this food and they can also have Tetra Pro Algae food.

A: Yes it has the foil seal over the food , it's the only food I use on all my tanks...
