I am happy I made the move, and I let's face it, 16 cores is a better sounding number than 18.. heh! I also believe that the 7960 will be able to overclock better. I have so far been running 4.64 GHz, all cores for 4 days now without issue. Using 1.2 Vcore I believe, and loads Prime 95 somewhere in the low 80s. Awesome chip, and noticeably faster than my 5960X (oced at 4.6Ghz) for video editing. Single core performance is pretty similar too.
