Some comments. Be careful because it is quite hot after use, as warned in the instructions. I mention this, because one does not expect a thin plastic item to be that hot. When all the corn is popped, I turn off the button and go about adding butter and some salt to the popcorn then sit and enjoy it. Later I come back for my 5 second clean up. It is inefficient to melt the butter in the measuring cup, I use a paper bowl in the micro, easy and no clean up. I have been on a low carb diet for a year, and this is my go-to snack. Use it about every two days. It does shoot some popped and unpopped corn around the countertop, but I don’t find it to be bothersome. There is only one item that slightly bothers me, and that is the two plastic clips that attach the plastic top to the base. They seem to be somewhat fragile.
