Each package includes two filters, making it a convenient choice for maintaining optimal air quality. ## Description The Replacement Carbon Filter for the DA-5018E works with the product to ensure cleaner and fresher air. The filters are integral to the working of the Air Purifier, if the filters are not changed when required then the purifier will not work properly. This filter is the active carbon filter which is responsible for removing larger particles and reducing the instances of unpleasant odours.Dependent on usage and the quality of the air being cleaned these filters should last 3-4 months. Two filters are included in each pack so this should last you for a 6-8 month period. The Honeywell DA-5018E has an electronic filter change reminder so you don't even have to remember when you last changed your filter - the purifier lets you know when you need to.
