Should be ok when I get round to it. Review: Overcomes diesel misfuel prevention devices - Thanks to G.L. Wright for the detailed dimensions. My new diesel car has a "misfuel prevention device" in the fuel tank filler neck that closes a flap to block the tank unless a nozzle of the correct diameter is inserted. That is obviously useful to stop one putting petrol into a diesel tank - but would be a major problem if I needed to add fuel from a fuel can. This plastic tubing (with a 25 mm outer diameter) is exactly the right size to open the car's misfuel flap and allow re-fuelling to take place from a fuel can. The 19 mm internal diameter is also exactly right to provide a tight fit for the spout of the jerry can. I have cut a six inch length of hosing and stuck it on the jerry can spout, thus restoring the possibility of refuelling from a fuel can. I hope never to need it, but it is good to have the option. ## Features - 19mm 3/4" 1 METRE Clear Braided PVC Flexible Tubing Food Grade Pipe Reinforced Vinyl Water Hose Tube MADE IN ENGLAND - PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD - Sold by 1 Metre Lengths - Our pipes are sent coiled so no kinks on arrival to you - MADE IN ENGLAND - To Purchase Multiple 1 Metre Lengths please add number of lengths required in the Quantity Box Multiple lengths will be supplied as one continuos length upto 30 Metres....MAXIMUM 30 METRE IN CONTINOUS LENGTH - Suitable for Automotive, Food Industry, Engineering, Medical, Diary, Fish Aquarium, PLUS many other.....Please ensure when buying PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD UK ... branded products you buy from Clear & Braided PVC Pipe and Fittings Solutions. ...only...No other vendors sell our branded products - 100% flexible PVC - Silicone and cadmium free - Good UV resistance - Suitable for food use ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B009W715VA | | Best Sellers Rank | 123,170 in Business, Industry & Science ( See Top 100 in Business, Industry & Science ) 290 in Water Hoses | | Brand | PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD | | Colour | Clear | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 207 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 05055542105794 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 25W millimetres | | Item Length | 1 Metres | | Manufacturer | PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD | | Material | Metal, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Silicone, Vinyl | | Nominal Wall Thickness | 1 | | Nominal wall thickness | 1 | | Outside Diameter | 25 Millimetres | | Outside diameter | 25 Millimetres | | Product dimensions | 25W millimetres | | Unit Count | 1 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD - **Colour:** Clear - **Item length:** 1 Metres - **Manufacturer:** PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD - **Material:** Metal, Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Silicone, Vinyl - **Nominal wall thickness:** 1 - **Number of Packs:** 1 - **Outside diameter:** 25 Millimetres - **Product dimensions:** 25W millimetres - **Unit count:** 1 count ## Images ![19mm ID 3/4" 1 Metre Length Clear Braided PVC Hose with Synthetic Reinforcement Made in England - PENTECH MOULDING CO LTD - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/31G3U3yZW2S.jpg) ## Questions & Answers **Q: is the outside of the tubing smooth?** A: yes, the overall diameter is about an inch it fits a 3/4 hose spigot but needs a jubilee clip. good item. ..brine **Q: I would like a price to buy a 30m reel.
