Flexible plastic tracks come in two pieces. more convenient and when plastered with mud and weathered, little different from those with hundreds of expensive tiny parts! It has separate hatches too. **Q: Is it possible to convert this to rc version because i see that the hull has markings for batteries**
A: It is possible. If you have the materials you can rc anything. Back in the 70s when this kit was first produced you could buy motors and gears for it, but it just went forward with a on off switch.

**Q: Do the tracks come in one piece or do you have to fix them together?**
A: The tracks are rubber and are in 2 strips (one for each set of wheels) you have to fix together with a hot knife/screwdriver prior to fitting over the wheels

**Q: Are these rubber tracks**
A: Yes they are black rubber tracks. You can buy alternatives online for this model. But if you paint them you could not tell the difference

**Q: How many parts are there to this model**
A: Approx 150 parts but not all are necessary for the version the person constructs.

I have made five of these tanks, and they are brilliant! The instructions are first- class, and the kit is quite easy to assemble if you have experience of building tank models. It is one of Tamiya's older kits, and very good value for money.
