The "lid" part clips over the drinking section and has a little suction type thing on it, so if its sitting upright in your handbag you can easily transport it. I got it because it sits upright in my handbag to work and does not spill. I definitely wouldn't risk putting it in my handbag as would be scraping green juice off my wallet for years to come! But I do use it with the Nutribullet cold bag and combined they work well because the bag is such a snug fit that the lid wouldn't be able to open when it's zipped up. My other gripe is that the nozzle is badly shaped or positioned. The mouth shape means that the lid should be at 12 o'clock to you when you drink but that means the lid hits your face and the lid would be somewhere on your forehead or your hair!
