E.g if I kept pasta salad in the bottom part?** A: I put Sainsburys tomato and basil pasta (in a sauce) in the bottom part for my sons school lunch and it has never leaked as far as I am aware. Admittedly I have not put a watery/vinagerette type dressing in with the salad for any length of time, only in the sauce pot (which hasn't leaked either) so I don't know if that might leak but I can't imagine it would as it's a pretty firm seal.
