## Questions & Answers

**Q: What Are Side By Side Worn Belt Symptoms?**
A: Common symptoms of a worn drive belt include sluggish or inconsistent acceleration, reduced performance under load, jerky drive‑away or clutch engagement, unusual noises from the CVT, and visible belt wear.

**Q: When Should a RZR Belt Be Replaced?**
A: Drive belt replacement is recommended when visible damage or ongoing performance issues are present. Signs of wear include cracks, fraying, loose or exposed cords, missing cogs, uneven wear such as “hour‑glassing”.

**Q: Why Do I Need to Break In a Polaris Drive Belt?**
A: During break‑in, the belt sidewalls wear to match the sheave angles, allowing proper contact. Because this process generates additional heat, operating the vehicle under light load and at varying speeds helps the belt break in without overheating.

**Q: Why Should I Carry a Spare Drive Belt?**
A: Carrying a spare drive belt helps reduce downtime if unexpected belt wear or failure occurs while riding. Having a spare on hand can allow you to continue operating without the need for immediate service or recovery.

**Q: What Are the Differences Between Polaris Engineered and Polaris Pro Series Drive Belts?**
A: Polaris Engineered belts are OEM replacement belts designed to meet factory specifications for fit and performance. Polaris Pro Series belts are designed for increased durability in demanding riding conditions.
