Swatch no longer make the replacement strap for this model, so I had to shop for an alternative. Looking at some of the previous reviews for this strap, there were mentions of how difficult it is to fit, and from experience I can confirm this. But, this is something common to pretty much all Swatch straps, and not a fault of the strap itself. Swatch straps are secured by a pin, and the strap has to be tight in order to keep it in place, and it's very difficult to fit a new one regardless of whether the strap is a genuine one or a repro replacement. I would advise anyone who doesn't have the correct tools (or patience) to seek the help of a professional if you're unsure. Like most straps, this is a little stiff when first worn, but is easing in over time. Over all, this is a really good alternative to the Swatch and original, and is maybe even better as the original keeper was a bit too tight.
