Review: Stunning - a real focal point. - The 40 cm is large - it's stunning and better than I imagined. It's definitely a focal point. The 33 hour church candle is tiny inside it. I bought 1kg of white sand to put in the base, to ensure a level base. Fine white sand looks stunning and contrasts against darker candles. The glass isn't too heavy to life, and it has a nice looking pedestal base, to give it extra stability.
Review: I have two, very nice also useful - Mine are in front of my unlit stove and being used, although spring it is a cold dull day. They provide cheery light, are safe and also provide a fair amount of warmth. The inside bottom is a bit wonky but I put white sand on the bottom. They are attractive and sturdy. Expensive but worth the cost
