Seems people liked the covers, or thought they were very cheap. I had been looking to replace my futon covers for months now. However, I never found one I liked. I had two to replace. They were both really pretty but were coming apart at the seams, literally, and did not match my new floors. Also, my older covers were a pain to put on and off. I would put a cover over the cover just because they were so hard to replace. When I looked at these I decided to go with the smoke color. One reviewer said the smoke was a much darker color, I would have to agree. The picture makes it look like a light gray; it is much darker and even has a slight purple hue to it. I ordered two of them and when I received them I was so happy to see `Made in the USA' on the tag. I washed both of them with a little bit of liquid fabric softener after someone said they were not soft. They felt thin when I pulled them out of the bag but seemed to actually get thicker after washing and drying on a medium heat. I loved the three zipper sides. My previous one had only two and it was like trying to wrestle a tiger to get the covers on. It was very easy to place the covers on myself. Both of them washed very well and did not shrink at all. They both fit my full size futons; I ordered the full size covers. They also look great on and don't wrinkle much at all. The zipper is very easy to zip, almost too easy because when you go to close the cover, both of mine slid down a bit. However, they are both staying in place now. I am very satisfied with the covers. Again, the smoke is darker but will camouflage cat hair and my two year toddler that will be using them. Very happy and for the price, you really can't go wrong! Light grey?** A: I bought the grey & would not consider it a light OR a dark but more "medium" grey. I think if you want a "grey", this would be the color to get. **Q: Doors this act as a cushion,or just a cover for the cushion** A: This is a cover only. **Q: Would this fit one of those clik clack futons?** A: It worked on my futon that cranks upward (I think that is what you are referring to). The fabric ripped and the zipper broke. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exactly what I needed *by N***Y on 4 October 2012* This is exactly what I needed it to be. I ordered it in the Smoke & I absolutely love the color. This is for a futon that we are just putting in a small bedroom upstairs, so it won't be getting a ton of use but it looks fantastic. It's perfect and was an amazing price! Update: I've had this futon cover for about 2 years now and I stand by my original review. We actually got a puppy shortly after I left the review and when we were at work we gated him in the bedroom with the futon. The puppy become a 70lb dog and he spent most of his time on the futon. It does have a rip in it from the dog's nails, but it has really held up against him and has been through more washes than I can count. Now that our dog is a bit older and doesn't need to be put away when we are out of the house, I am going to buy another one to replace the one with the rip. I have been so pleased with it that I don't want to try another brand. And you really can't beat the price.
