They are pretty good to be honest. Build quality is good. The finish is smooth and glossy.There are subltle difference between the Schaller brand and these. The Schaller slides and clicks into place and requires the pin to be pulled for release. These ones require the pin to be pulled either on or off of the guitar.These are longer than the Schaller ones which means I have to unlock them before some of my guitars go in their cases.Neither a majorly negative.They are easy to install and look decent.The only thing I would advise is to use your guitars original screws. The screws that come with this item and much thicker than the factory ones. As the nut sizes are the same the original screws fit with no problem. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for the price and the buttons work with the original schaller lock *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 December 2016* So here's what you need to know, these spurious locks are partially compatible with official Schaller strap locksI have 3 sets of official lock sets (and straps) and an additional 4 pairs of the official buttons. But I have at approximately 15 guitars and thus a bit of a shortfall.So I thought I would try these ... on my lower end guitars (just in case)These spurious buttons are not as nice or even the same shape as the official ones, but surprisingly do fit the official Strap Lock and feel very secure.Interestingly the spurious locks do not fit the official Schaller buttons. There is an extra chamfer on the original buttons so I guess this is impacting the fit.However, considering that you get 2 pairs of buttons and locks for less than the price of one pair of original buttons, I can live with putting the copy locks sitting in the drawer. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do The Job at a fraction of the cost... *by W***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 23 June 2018* Good quality, reasonable price and do the job...What's not to like! I have some "proper" Schaller Strap Locks, which are much higher wquality, but since these are a quarter of the price I needed to equip two guitars, so went for the cheaper option...and am glad I did.
