Skill is not available yet in the UK -therefore no Alexa functionality until it has a UK released. *by J***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 22 January 2017* This is the third time I've tried to put up this review - it keeps getting rejected. So I'll be succinct: Alexa Almond skill is not available in the UK at the time of writing this review. This means that none of the Alexa integration works. Therefore, despite the product description, it does NOT currently work with Alexa. So - if you buy this right now - you won't have any Alexa functionality.It says 'works with Alexa' - but right now - it does not. When some one asked about this functionality for the UK back in October 2016, the Securifi response was "Not yet, we have already sent the request for approval and waiting for them to approve it, which could happen any time now."That was October last year. There is still no native Alexa support.This gets one star, because I bought this for the Alexa support. Therefore, it has failed my main purpose - and it is misleading.If I am wrong - please tell me. Otherwise, please do not reject my review again. ### ⭐ No IPTV channels: no YouView, BBC iPlayer, Now TV, etc. *by S***7 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 6 March 2017* I really like the device itself. The touchscreen is surprisingly good and the user interface is nice to use. I was happy with it until I went to use my YouView box. No Internet-provided channels. I went to use the BBC iPlayer on the same box and I got audio but no video. Tried my Now TV box and also no channels. The Almond+ doesn't work with UK IPTV services out of the box. It may be possible to get them working via the OpenWRT interface, but the expertise needed to do it is beyond me.I don't know how the Almond+ box performs as an access point or range extender, but as a router it's useless if you want to access IPTV services. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic bit of kit. *by A***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 February 2016* Bought to replace an aging Netgear WNDR3700. Massively improved the reach of our WIFI, I can now connect on the 5Ghz band in our 3rd floor bedroom, where before we'd struggle to connect to the 2.4Ghz band!This is extremely easy to get set up as a router, you can actually do it all from the touch screen on the router which is very user friendly. Use the same SSIDs and passwords as your old WIFI router and your devices will all connect instantly. If you want more features however, they're also available as advanced settings, with everything from FTP and Samba server, DLNR to a VPN server.
