A: Hi, your better cleaning area from dirt n grease then warm up exhaust not to hot as you will be applying paste with your fingers.
Yes warm it up.
If you put it in cold, the air leak can push a hole in the paste before heat cures it thus pointless.
Again clean and warm it up.
